How do I use public transport?

In Copenhagen you have bus, metro, train and s-train connections to get almost everywhere in the city.

We recommend you to get a Rejsekort. This is a public transportation debit card that you can charge with money. For every ride you take, you have to check in and check out at the green and red contactless stations (with the blue dots). The money will automatically be deducted. With the Rejsekort you pay approximately half the price compared to a single ride ticket.

We advise you to get the Rejsekort at the airport or at the bigger train stations at the blue ticket vending machines.

When taking the bus please be aware that you can only pay with cash if you do not have a Rejsekort.
